Sorry, I did not reply earlier - I was sick over the holidays :-(<br /><b>lyn67</b>, I find that black is a bit too harsh to my liking with this dress. This&nbsp;shrug is not faux fur per say but ore of a "furry" fabric. It has more weight than the velvet, looks like fur with a very short pile. That' why I want to try more "fur" like wraps, just for&nbsp;something different.<br /><b>Suz,</b> surprisingly&nbsp;The Bay was a treasure trove for my dance dress capsule. No such luck this year though, I have not added any new dresses to it.<br /><b>carolbee</b>, this is the question, right? I love how grey looks with red (much more than black) but I am not sure how grey would work with gold.<br /><b>Jjsloane,</b> I know exactly what you mean. I actually saw the picties before reading (always do so:-)) and thought how great the black wrap&nbsp; looks with your dress in nr 2! is it a light&amp;short fur or&nbsp; a dense velvety thing? Love it looks like having&nbsp; just enough weight (so not flimsy or transparent), has the 3/4 sleeves and enough length which&nbsp; flatters your torso's&nbsp; silhouette. I do have this problem with my various wraps (but neither is fur, just lace or knits) they are short in the body which I do not like. Wanted me a fur one, too, but then those you showed here in your finds will probably make me look fat as&nbsp; they are long haired and I do have some lineback shoulders&amp;bust, too-but perhaps will look great on your thin frame! It was harder than I thought! In the end even while I liked some gowns I realized that my one and only red ball gown appeals to me more so I will wear it! I did add a gold clutch and gold Valentino pumps to my red gown while I was on it ( I could never even walk in those pumps, not mentioning dancing but for YLF ball - why not!) Actually some Cartier gold and diamond bracelet and earrings would look good too!&nbsp;</p> <p>I have added pictures from a real ball I went to this December in this red gown (sadly sans Valentino pumps and Cartier baubles). The second picture is from the last year - as you can see I am wearing the same gown every year because I love it! I have added the second picture to show you my current wrap I use with it - because I do not like how my black wrap looks with it (although it does bookend my black shoes but I really want to get a pair of gold dance shoes for the next year to wear with this dress).<br />So while I was on this ball quest I decided that a new wrap is in order (both for the YLF ball and for my real ball next year). Alas - I could not&nbsp; select which one to go with so I post all of them in the finds - can you help me? I am looking at 2 grey&nbsp; (one like a silver fox and another looks like light purplish grey) and to a couple of white. One is full bodied fur and another has a smoother fur in the middle between fluffier ones (that is he best description I can give).It is primarily for this red gown but if it works with other dance dresses I have then it would be a bonus. I have added all my current dance dresses in the funds below as well.&nbsp; </p>
