It was pretty lighweight cotton. It just wasn't what I wanted although I did like the fishtail, I thought the length was long for not having an option to unzip from the bottom (to sit???) It also pulled across my chest in an unflattering way. I don't know if I can say I *need* it, but it would be cozy and useful for travelling (keeping the backside warm and covered on subway seats, etc.), and I think I could also style it for Friday use. And I still think the fishtail hem is awesome. </p> <p>Should I just give it a try already (yay)? Or am I oversaturated in the jacket/coat department (nay)? </p>
