I wore the outfit in picture #1. I felt pretty and, as expected, was a little more dressy than most, but didn't stick out like a sore thumb either. My girlfriends all loved the fur jacket and my husband thought it was pretty cute too, so that made me happy.</p> <p>We had a lovely time at a seafood restaurant on the beach with a great view of the city skyline. Until last night, I hadn't really felt the Christmas spirit, but lots of twinkly lights, good food and great friends fixed that! </p> <p>We got to catch up with some friends who have been out of the country for the past couple of years, so that was especially nice. We've missed them a lot.</p> <p>I drank some very tasty Manhattans and ate crab legs--which were good, but really messy. I don't recommend them when wearing satin, lol! I like nr 1/2, as Angie said, keep the fur coat on, for a more glamorous look-it is all trully fab!<br /> I like the other dress, too on it's own like in nr. 3, or with the lace top and boots,BUT then without the pearls and love nr. 10, too(pearls left long).<br /> I think several strands of white pearls are too bulky and of too much contrast against all the blacks from the lace top, dress, tights, and shoes. </p> <p>I feel like you could also sew a ribbon on the sleeves of the lace top-if you are so skilled-for another look- with gathered sleeves and so you will be able to pull them up a bit if you want. I'm worried that I'll be cold in the restaurant (I generally am) and couldn't find a nice coverup in the time I had to shop. Does the lace top work? The only thing I don't like about it are the bell sleeves. It would be more versatile for me if the were straight. I may alter those another day. Can I wear those sleeves down with the short fur jacket or should I fold them up?</p> <p>Which shoes? After seeing these pictures, I'm not crazy about the boots/booties. Can I wear stockings with peep toes or is that a no-no? </p>
