You have taken SYC to a new high! </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/all-about-the-boots#post-1141313 Fri, 17 Jan 2014 03:19:50 +0000 MuseumGal 1141313@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>These men's Frye boots have been in my "one day I need to figure out how to sell on eBay" pile for a couple of years, because they are about a size too big.&nbsp; But the other day I read an article by a podiatrist who recommended Frye boots for the kind of foot problems I have.&nbsp; And I thought, "Hmm, I've been bitching about my feet growing ..."&nbsp; So I pulled them out, put in an insert, and they fit!&nbsp; Added bonus - the deep dark mahogany brown is a much better bookend for my hair than either black boots or the lighter brown boots from the other day.</p> <p>I'm still experimenting with these maroon pants, and since I got the YLF OK for brown boots and a grey top before, that's what I did.&nbsp; I was cold so added this olive cord overshirt (but it wasn't enough; I actually came home early because I wasn't dressed warmly enough).&nbsp; My jade beads are black, brown, white, and green, so they seemed a perfect match.&nbsp; Pic 4 is me trying to show my ohm hoop earrings, but you can't really see them.</p> <p>Overall I like the simple silhouette of this, and Pic 2 (with a shirt that is not my husband's, and thus not a couple sizes too large) reminds me that wearing over-sized clothing makes me look larger than I actually am.&nbsp; However now that winter is really and truly here, and my summer tan a distant memory, I think these colors are too muted for me.&nbsp; Time to dig out my cobalts and fuchsias!</p> <p>Comments and suggestions appreciated. </p>
