unfrumped, Oh, yes! 11 hrs from Brisbane to LA. My 3 year old got to hand out candy on the plane, and then slept on the beach during the 11 hr layover.

Thanks! This is a new fabric for me. I usually do all natural fibers, but have gotten workout clothes over the past year that have amazed me with how comfortable "fake" fabric can be, so I'm branching out. (Branching out with trees on my pants ;D). I'll have to test them before we go.

I not headed to the tropics, but live in Florida and am going to family in the Midwest, so am sort of bringing the tropics with me. I hope I'll be warm enough. Instead of a bra, I'm wearing a crocheted top that I can wear to the airport by itself, so the other is like a sleeveless sweater layer. (And if it is really cold, I'll pull something out of the carryon--we don't check bags.)

I would wear these comfy travel pants if I were headed to a casual, tropical location, as they look less like "city pants."

I purchased these Athleta pants for a recent long flight and they worked well in flight (both ways) and could be dressed up for big city sight-seeing.

i think the pants look great for travel....not sure about the top---unless you have an additional layer.....but maybe that's me, airplane and airport tempetatures are so hard to gauge, they can be unreasonably cold or sweltering hot.

In my experience Tencel/lyocell creases a lot, but that aside these can look very stylish.

I don't think they're too casual for modern air travel unless you are a more formal person! The navy background is a good choice.
Tencel is wonderfully soft and drapey but usually wrinkles like crazy and more so with pants/sitting. I've had varying experiences as to how different items handle the " squeeze test" and have made myself pass up items that I thought would be high- maintenance. Again, the darker color and print may be more forgiving and just what is needed, but you may want to test- drive them as suggested. Of course many casual flowy pants are made of 100% thin rayon which also wrinkles, so some Tencels may be better.

I think they look great + the elastic/drawstring waistband sounds perfect for plane travel.
Test them out at home first to see if they can go the distance. Being patterned will hide spills + dirt better. Not sure if will be crush + crease proof though. Very cute top too.
(I'm accustomed to some very long haul flights - you can imagine the time it takes to travel anywhere from Australia - so comfort is always of high priority)

I have the pants with the blue background, and am thinking of this top in the color called taupe (but it's actually darker than taupe, and has a greenish cast to it)
https://www.lyst.com/track/lea.....#038;reaso

I like to look nice when I fly, but feeling comfortable is even more important. I know these will be comfy, but they are SO cozy that I'm starting to think they're better suited for pajama pants than for day wear. What do you think? Will they look good when I arrive at my destination? I'm planning to wear them with slip-on Sperrys and a woven top.
