I think they are usually pretty casual - shorts, swim suits during the day and slightly dressier for dinner with one of two dressy nights. I usually have a few light sweaters more for the ship AC than for outdoors. You say that you have been on cruises but not for the last five years? I think they have gotten more casual in that time but I would definitely go on Cruise Critic for advice. We are the old fuddy-duds of the group, which includes 6 kids from ages 2 1/2 to 11. I've been on lots of cruises but it's been more than 5 years and I have done a Caribbean cruise 3 times. I did read up on cruise critic and on Facebook, so I have an idea what to expect.&nbsp;</p> <p>But what about WtW on the cruise itself? They say it's pretty informal. We may eat in the adults only dining room once or twice or maybe do the adults brunch, which they say are a bit dressier.&nbsp;</p> <p>Having just completed a round of fluorouracil (chemotherapy for skin cancer &amp; pre-cancers) I'm going to try to stay covered up or inside while the young mid-westerners bake to a lovely tan. Not that I want to show off my skin anyway. Still, night will fall.&nbsp;</p> <p>I saw these pants on J Crew before they were available and couldn't wait to buy them, and knowing J Crew I waited until they went on sale. I'm a bit disappointed--I didn't expect to look like the model, but I don't think they flatter me.I think they make me look like I have short legs. I do have a pair of NYDJ from last year, same length, but they fall straight.&nbsp;</p> <p>I won't be wearing this pink tee shirt, and probably will wear sandals most of the time.
