Great to hear you won't need to exchange them for a different size after all, Sharan. And thank you so much for elaborating about the burgundy colour. It's divine, and sounds super versatile (and they look amazing on you!!-)

Sarah, thank you as well for chiming in. All your helpful information is making ordering online so much easier.

A little update: It was a tough decision, but in the end I decided to get the Munro Verandas instead (partly because I have my eye on a pair of AGL loafers from the new collection on the European website...).

Thank you again so much for all your input. I appreciate it tremendously!

I am between 7 and 7.5 US. I had to go with the 7.5/37.5 in these shoes. The are lovely shoes.

Oh, and if you are thinking of the burgundy, it is a subtle color with a shimmery quality that enables it to go with several different shades of burgundy I have in my closet. Plus, it will complement plum and eggplant. It's kind of a dusty metallic shade; reminds me of car paint.

I just tried mine on again today, and I'm pretty sure I'll keep the 37.5. They are long enough, and they don't feel too narrow. I was trying them on without socks in the evening, when I was having second thoughts. With stockings, they will be fine.

I am a solid 10 in U.S. Sizes. I ordered the 40.5, but am trading up to a 41. The 40.5 were snug in the width for sure and a tiny bit short. They are my first agl's though. My feet are a little wide across the front and high arched.

I usually take a 37.5 in AGLs, and that's what I bought. It felt good in the store. I was just debating yesterday whether I need to size up to a 38. (This happens to me a lot with shoes--I get them home and feel like they are tight. Sometimes I stay with the original size and sometimes I need the next size up.)

I got them in size 38. My regular size is 7.5 US but I have another pair of AGL oxfords in 38 so I did the same for these and it worked.
For reference, I have high volume feet and sightly high instep. The Parkers are very comfortable, even more than my previous AGLs in snake print leather.

Hi dear Fabbers,

I know several of you have already bought (and received) the AGL Parkers. Would you say they run true to size?
(The website says they run small, but in the past I've always worn my regular size in AGL, so I wonder. It could be this shoe style, of course.)

Thank you!
