I really hate hearing people (but its usually women sadly) say they shouldnt even bother anymore. "Im old anyway" i hear or "its too late to do that" or "ill look a fool". My late grandmother was the opposite, shed say "im # years young!" Keeping in shape is a good way too. I also personally think it's important to listen to current music - so many friends of ours over the age of about 50 seem to have stopped their music knowledge at about age 40 and never bothered to listen forward. I like that the ladies ( although obviously having money) are not all botoxed up. Very refreshing to see the style with the wrinkles etc. I just read an article in the NYT about womengroups for support, travel,fun. One of the women talked about being invisible after a certain age.
