The styling makes SUCH a difference. I love almost all the combinations, and I surprised myself by liking the length with both the dress and pants outfits. You look great in blazers but I think you’d look much more luxe in a more medium- neutral leather color. I think you disappear more in so much black and it works against your coloring. But, that doesn’t mean you have to have that as your goal, and black leather is “ classic “, and you may be finding that this one fits you better than any ones you think will come along for awhile. I like 1 and 9 the best. I was tempted to buy a long leather blazer in green last year but I wasn’t convinced I would wear it with my skirts. I bought them at like 75% off a couple years ago. Apparently no one else thought that slit front style was cool then. Then I bought a near duplicate of them (also a scuba type fabric) from Carbon 38 but it doesn't seem to be around anymore. (Ironically the Carbon 38 fit a little better because they're elastic but also have side zipper.) I also really like the outfit with the slip dress, #8.   The only one slightly bothering me proportion wise is #6, with the skirt.  I want to switch the skirt, for a longer, midi version, either narrow, or swishy/pleated (like in Friday's blog post), etc.    But it could be that I am just used to seeing that particular look. I include all the pics, even where I’m making odd faces or gestures, as well as the outfits I didn’t think worked especially well. I would never have thought of playing it sporty (although I did already have the cashmere hoodie in mind) but the other ´Lisa mentioned it on her thread. It turns out those those are some of the looks I like best (even though my track pants are a little too big for me). I am not really satisfied with the dress and skirt looks, especially not the homage to college in the 80s.
