I tried on high-rise jeans this week for the first time in a while - Acne Needle and CoH Elson - and the Elsons fit me perfectly, like mid-rise jeans fit other people with more normal proportions. If I jump on this white-jeans-for-winter bandwagon, I'm eyeing the Elson in white.</p> <p>And Theodora, there is no way you look big as a horse in those photos. The rise is definitely higher, about an inch or two below my actual belly-button, but not like high waist or mom jeans. I am 5'4" and about 118, and I could have gotten the 26 or 27 was best, but sized up to 28 because I need them loose at waist due to back surgery, so pants that really fit hurt my back. Anyway, they are still nice and sleek around bum and thighs, which I like. I hate pants that are really loose there, cause they make me look messy. Took a pic or 2, but now I think I look as big as a horse! Sigh... I assume they both need to be sized up, being white.&nbsp;&nbsp;I could order off Piperlime for $130 to try on but I'm sort of tired of the returns merry go round and would rather be pretty certain they are 'the ones'. &nbsp;Thanks for any help! </p>
