The pumps kind of look outdated to me... </p> <p>RE: getting used to heel height, I never wore heels before 2006, and then any height was torture. Now I do 4-5" regularly at work, and now 3.5 with small platform regularly on weekends with much walking. So IMO, yes, you can get used to a taller heel to a point. I think the more enclosed around the foot, the easier the height is to walk on.
