I found that the petite had long enough sleeves and fit better in the torso but the shoulders were too narrow for me so I went with the regular instead. I think my perfect fit would have been the petite but with regular shoulders. I ended up with the fitted cut which is the middle of the three. I'm both petite and curvy (28FF), and they're really flattering. If not, ignore. If you are Canadian, then the Bay has shirts that are cut similar to the BB but you can try them on to test. They also come in a classic or slim fit and are no iron. I have two or three BB shirts and two of the Bay (Hudson Room) shirts and find the fabric comparable and might even prefer my Bay ones very slightly.
