Maybe you can wear it almost kimono style? Or, if you truly love it, maybe you could have the sleeves altered from the shoulder so that they are the correct length for you and you don't lose the pattern. Oversized can work but that top (lovely as it is) seems like it may be difficult to work with. I have a shirt that’s two sizes too large, but it’s an all-over pattern and I either tie the tails in the front at the waist or I tuck it in and let it blouse a little, worn under a jacket.
