(Before that I had worn a casual chelsea boot in similar situations). The motos were high quality and weatherproof and gave me a bit of additional warmth and I <b>LOVE</b> them even though, like Smittie, I'm more &nbsp;of a refined boot type of person. I was actually hoping I could get a new pair at NAS but Aquatalia did not offer them. I'm going to get mine refurbished instead.&nbsp;</p> <p>Ironically, I first bought these boots at NAS three years ago -- but returned them -- and then regretted not having kept them for a full year. No sooner did the weather turn after I bought them then they were on my feet nonstop. I actually wear mine about 5 times a week. As Smittie says, this type of footwear serves a practical purpose.
