After much searching (over 2 hours) I finally found, on approximately page 22 of the last eBay search I did, an almost identical pair!</p> <p>The same model, the same size, but a different material and color.&nbsp; The new (to me) ones are grey suede, whereas my original ones were black patent. </p> <p>I kinda sorta love the new ones more than the originals?!&nbsp; Funny how the universe works!!</p> <p>They should arrive to my hotel just in time for when I get there, so hopefully by next week I have the better than the original replacements!</p> <p>And to my friend's surprise, the price was very affordable. She wants to make it right. I have scoured the internet and can’t find the exact same ones. </p> <p>I liked that they were waterproof, patent and had a rubber lug sole with buckle detail, so more on the casual side. </p> <p>I can ether just take the money she’s offering me and forget about replacing or I can try to find something similar. </p> <p>I was planning on wearing them this fall and winter when it rains and gets colder. No snow here but I do have to go to the Midwest in the winter. They were my travel boots bc they were easy to get off and on. </p> <p>I do still have the aquatalia sweeties which can and will work for wet and cold weather just not good for travel. </p> <p>Advice? Recommendations of similar boots? What would you do (besides mourn the loss of awesome boots!) </p> <p>Thanks! </p>
