Seriously, this dress is the best. It's going to be a staple in my work wardrobe this spring/summer. The length is awesome for western boots (a look I love since I'm a horse girl) and flats/sandals OR sneakers- how cute would that be? I am short waisted and hourglass with a small bust and this dress is perfectly fitted for my size/shape. It also comes in canary yellow... But I'm not bold enough for that! For $25 though, you can't go wrong! Thanks, all!!!!!

Pretty dress! I think you could wear the teal dress with the navy combination or black tights, boots and a jacket that matches the boots (if they're brown or black), or switch up the navy with black tights and jacket.

I am pretty much stuck in a rut in this cold weather (NY/NJ) in my opaque tights, boots and skirt, top jacket or sweater dress jacket outfit. I'm wearing my spring dresses with cardigans and belted and coloured tights! Also I have jackets in teal, tangerine and white, so that keeps the gloominess away!

You all rock! I wore it today (Palm Sunday at my home church- next week is at a church out of town) and here's what I did: teal dress, navy tights and navy cardi and brown Frye boots- it looked really cute! I do like brown boots with black BUT in order for it to work, it has to be done thoughtfully. :). Thanks all!!!!

I think brown and navy work well most of the time, but I agree that the black tights should be left off.

I personally have a poison eye for brown shoes with black tights and vice versa. I am not sure brown would look awesome with that dark blue, either. I think I'd have to see it on.

Also, I do not go to church, but part of me thinks a denim jacket is too casual? So I'd tip toward a cardigan unless the denim is very tailored.
Super cute dress! I think you are sorted with both brown boots and black tights here, and a denim jacket or cardi would be great on top. Add a scarf or necklace, and you're set. If you already have two colors you might find the third redundant, even in black.

I live in Wisconsin, and I wear dresses and skirts frequently. However, I just started doing this. I own 2 pair of knee high leather boots, one lined in shearling so beyond comfortable and warm. I purposely buy dresses I can pair with black. I wear black fleece lined tights with the boots so it creates a single long line. I do not have long legs, I would like them to not look stumpy, so I try not to break up the leg line.

if it were me, I would wear the teal with black boots and tights, and then I would wear a black topper to bookend. A structured jacket would be ideal, but a warm cardi would work too.

easter in April stinks in Wisconsin. I am dressing my DD in a full wool dress and matching satin lined coat. Ridiculous what they sell in Wisconsin as Easter dresses. . I basically just bought her a Christmas dress with pink flowers instead of red. She will be warm and still cute.

Mix up 1 & 2 and don't buy another one just for the sake of. I realize in theory it sounds good but my practice is, you have the same dress different colors, you will pick one over the other. I'd buy a black dress in a slightly

#2 and throw the denim on for warmth

I probably would not wear a spring dress in the cold, but what you described with the jean jacket sounds nice.

Hi! I just got this dress:

http://m.oldnavy.gap.com/produ.....dn=oc15292
in navy and teal green and it is SUPER cute. Only $25! It is very flattering and I am totally looking forward to dressing it up and down! I might need it in black too. Am I hoarding? Maybe a bit.

I'm hoping to wear it for church and brunch on Easter BUT its so cold out and I am a pale redhead so the bare leg thing ain't happening this early!
Should I:

1. Wear the teal with bare legs, Frye Jane boots (in brown) and a jean jacket (for some reason I am less concerned about bare legs when my calves are covered)
2. Wear the teal with navy tights, navy cardi, white bubble necklace and Bass saddle shoe heels
3. Get it in black instead and wear with colored tights (black?) and Fryes

Any other cold Northern women out there? How do you handle cold weather and spring dresses? Thanks!!!!
