You can also take a taxi to Urbane - have breakfast there (they are open early) - and leave for the airport from there.

Thanks for the advice! The Garden looks beautiful and something I'm definitely going to try to see.

This is the second time I've been to Seattle and not really had time to see the city. The first time was for a wedding that was on one of the islands nearby (I don't remember which one) so we flew in and then took a ferry. I'd really like to have time to actually spend a few days and explore.

Echo the Pike Place Market recommendation for Saturday afternoon and Sunday breakfast. There are several bakeries and local favorite, The Crumpet Shop, is quaint.

Another quick stop for Saturday afternoon is Waterfall Garden near Pioneer Square:

http://www.pioneersquare.org/go/waterfall-garden

Unless it is raining sideways, you will be fine with an umbrella. Enjoy!

Fun. Sorry to miss you. Pike Place is fab. Do that and enjoy the Sculpture Park if you can fit it in. Soak in the city, the urban grit, and the views.

One option is to walk to Pike Place Market and check out what's open for breakfast that early on Sunday. You'll probably need to eat at 8am to be at the airport by 9.30am.

DH and I are going to Seattle this weekend for one
night. We'll arrive early on Saturday afternoon and leave late Sunday morning.
My company is having an employee appreciation party at the Seattle Aquarium on Saturday night (Oct. 25) and
they will reimburse flights for employees and a guest (the majority of the company is located in the Pacific Northwest, Albuquerque is an outlier). They’ll also
reimburse one night at a hotel. We are staying at the Marriot Courtyard Pioneer Square.

My plan was to walk from the hotel to the Pike Place Market in the afternoon since it's close to the Aquarium. Is there anything else in that general area that we should try to see? The party starts around 7 pm so we don't have a lot of time but I'd like to take advantage of the time we do have.

Is there anywhere to have brunch on Sunday that's walking distance from the hotel? Our flight leaves at 11 so we have a little time in the morning before we need to head to the airport.

The weather is showing rain right now, so is my plan to walk completely unreasonable? I have an umbrella and that's pretty much it for raingear since I live in a desert.

Thank you in advance for any advice you might have.
