That sounds terribly uncomfortable and fussy. And I agree snaps or tapes could be a really clever design, and maybe even a good DIY project for someone with some skills. That could also be a good solution for someone like me who has a fairly significant difference in leg length. I found these on Amazon (even though I have withdrawn nearly all my purchasing from Amazon).
