I popped a silver pendant with a plain silver sphere on and it immediately looked better, but I didn’t have time to take a pic. And more importantly really comfy. The shoes really make it look more softer and fresher too due to the color of both the shoes themselves and the white laces. And thank you for raising the topic. Trying to find out how I do it has made me realize that I indeed seem to follow a structure without explicitly thinking about it.<br /> I don't separate my trousers mentally into for work / not for work categories but rather if I would like to wear something more structured or soft. And then I just use the tried and true trousers+top+third piece rule to crate a casual outfit using t-shirts, soft blouses, cardigans, vests, big cotton scarfs etc. also - using fun colourful socks or omitting them altogether seems to make "business" trousers more casual even if I have to use more formal shoes (e.g. On a business trip). I've worn the outfit you see there while running errands on a Saturday in march (with my favorite yellow socks). So I think knittingGenes advice was spot on - just use those serious trousers anyway you like. There is no label "for business use only" attached to them. This is at least What I nowadays try to convince myself of when it comes to the more expensive stuff in my wardrobe.
