I avoid acrylic like a plague for the piling reason. They just don't last and look terrible and worn pretty quickly. In my experience polyester can be good and bad but acrylic is just bad. The fabric content is 45% nylon, 28% acrylic and 27% wool.</p> <p>I read on a blog somewhere that you should avoid sweaters with an acrylic content, but I'm not sure why. Any comments on the composition of this sweater? Should I get it? </p>
