It loses dye and shape quickly. Maybe there is a better quality available. Every acrylic item I have ever owned has pilled badly within one wear and wash, but I don't remember the exact content breakdown. Is 50% going to pill badly? I know all knitwear will pill eventually, but I'd like to get at least a couple of seasons out of this since it has been so hard to find. </p>
