I read all your thoughts with much interest before heading upstairs to get dressed. </p> <p>In the end, I was feeling swirly and girly, so I went with #2. I also ended up with #2 because the event was *extremely* staid and conservative and darn it, I tend to want to do something a tiny bit less expected in those situations. P</p> <p>I changed the necklace to a long strand of oversized pearls (an Angie's pick from several years ago) that I looped around my neck several times in a messy drape that better filled the area above the top of the dress.
