The bag looks awesome and what a good size. I love royal blue - one of my favourite colours. It looks great both with and without the brooches and perfect for travelling. The brooches are very pretty. I just googled to see if they still have the bag, but the shop does not display the merchandise online. I will try to pop in there tomorrow, I have actually an afternoon meeting in a vicinity of one of their shops. It would be perfect for, if not the giant safety pin, then for many other brooches. In the picture, I have placed four brooches loosely upon the bag, just to give you an idea. I suppose they could easily be replaced by one or two larger brooches. Don't know the actual size of your glamorous safety pin. However, the envelope bag is C4 size (able to room A4 sheets and/or a large tablet). </p> <p>The bag was purchased in a hurry one and a half week ago, and I don't remember the exact prize, but it was inexpensive, like NOK 50,- or less. I think it came in one or two other colours, too. I imagine that I will want to bring it as an extra bag in my suitcase sometimes when travelling. I had a similar one 30 years ago and remember it as very cozy, warm and versatile--it was easy to style in various ways, and I wore it at several different occasions. Now that I have silver hair, I find solid black turtlenecks a bit harsh against my complexion, but that's no problem for you with your striking dark hair and pretty complexion even without makeup.</p> <p>Love your shoes, too.</p> <p>I understand that because of its size and stiffness the pin might be difficult to wear on other items than a dress like this one or a wrap, but it is fun and dramatic and really dresses up the outfit. Maybe you could use it on a bag too? I recently purchased a large soft envelope bag (in velour) at a local Flying Tiger Copenhagen (I believe they have shops near you, too) and plan to dress it up with a brooch or two or three. I like it a lot, but the use is limited&nbsp; because it is not so much for daily work outfits, and mainly since the pin's needle is rather thick and therefore not possible to use with woven fabrics or finer knits. I have used it with chunky knitted shawls and scarves and some sweaters (if I happen to have any such).&nbsp; &nbsp;</p> <p><b>Lyn 67</b>, I understand what you mean. I have tried the dress also with various scarves and it looks good with most of them. One idea was to use a red patterned longer scarf and a pair of red kitten heeled booties.
