I expect to wear them through the spring and summer. It is strange though, because I have a bit of a poison eye for flat black sneakers in general. The wedge gives them a different look I think. But I'm now considering adding a taupe pair because I like them more than anticipated. Several of the ones Angie had in her boat had hundreds of great reviews and weren't too much more than the Target ones.
