Oh, BJ, one can hope but no, quite the opposite :/ I have embarked on an overly ambitious push up regime actually as of late.

Thanks for the heads up, though I also have to blame some of the stretch in those TR pants. I also have to agree that the cut probably has to do a lot with it; and also for the most part with myself at least, the waist never fits. I'm happy if it fits from the butt and down >.> (I'll get the waist taken in some day!)

Lesson learned: try before buy >.>

I had to size down 2X in the TR Camerons and I could probably still fit an arm down the leg! That said, the fit here LOOKS good, so I think this is a problem with the fabrication. Also, some cuts just don't work for some bodies no matter what.

Mo, I'm with you in that they look too big all over. But I often disagree with many of the "good fit" denim posts. I like my jeans fitted all through the leg, especially if they're meant to be a legging jean.

ETA: That said, I tried on TRs today and a 30 was too small, though Joe's in 29 are getting too big on me and I wear 8 in most other brands. I wasn't trying to shop for jeans so I didn't try on the 31s.

I think it's very convenient to be able to put your arm down the side of your jeans - for when you have to correct a wedgie. But unfortunately, that doesn't balance the fact that these are not the best fit. Try sizing down.

Mo - I agree with Ceit. I just think this cut/style is wrong for your body. It looks to me like they fit - except for the waist. What is the fabric content?

Just to be sure I wasn't crazy I tried on my white Miss Me 28's and my wine cord Free People 28's. Both were snug enough to give me muffin top. so, yeah, there is a big sizing difference if the TR's are too big in the exact place the other 28's verge on being small.
I packed them away to return, otherwise I'd totally put up the 'hand down the pants' shot Ha! I think because these are a legging jean the material is much stretchier than I'm used to. But baggy right out of the bag isn't going to work! When the next pair arrive I'll compare and contrast. Could just be that this cut isn't for me.

Have you worn this style and brand before? I ask because it does appear that everything else fits, except that one area, and in my experience, when you have a pair with one place that fits wrong, even if you size down, it's still going to be weird there. It almost looks like the rise in the back is higher than the rise in the front.

Oh, they are. The only place they fit is the upper thigh. Which looks even worse contrasted with the baggy spots. Plenty of stretch so I know a size down would be the same in the thigh, but the rest would fit closer.

becoming smaller - I'm not so sure. These are sized up True Religion Halley's and they are definitely too big
I am going to try exchanging for my normal size 27. I could put my whole arm down the leg inside the outseam lol.
