I want to add grey and tan to possible combinations there. Denim blues may result on retro. So also shades of red or green.

Navy may look odd unless you are blonde or a redhead.

Cute shoes. I agree with Janet - they could be difficult to style but it depends on your hair colour. If it is blonde/white/grey you may be able to wear these with a darker outfit too.

They are great little shoes I see them as very versatile and love the two tone with a little burgundy. I "see" them with white, cream, taupe, burgundy, denims, olive and look forward to seeing them styled in your outfits.
Great find

As the others said, it could work depending on if you neutrals are more warm or cool colored.

They have some super fun black and white flats at Nordies.

Ditto what K and Janet said. When I clicked on the photo, I immediately imagined them with cream or burgundy skinnies or straigt leg jeans. I think they would work equally well with camel colored trousers and white or burgundy skirts. The color strikes me as extremely versatile. The style you picked is definitely in line with the goals you outlined.

That is a very cute shoe. I would personally find it hard to work with because my wardrobe is so heavily steeped in blacks, greys and cooler neutrals. That said, I agree with K that you should just try them with all kinds of combinations -- they may prove to be really versatile. I bet they'd look great with skinny or straight leg jeans, especially mid-light denim or cream or white!

I have moved away from ballet flats and toward either pointy-toed flats or low oxfords, which stay on my narrow feet better and look a bit "edgier."

I think you could treat them almost as a neutral. As long as the burgundy doesn't clash with the what your wearing, you should be good to go!

just done purging shoes and boots. Purged items include 2 pairs of ballet flats(so tired of them) wedge sandals that hurt my feet, fashion high sneakers that are too hard to zip, and boots with heel that is too high for me.

now to start planning and shopping for footwear, and to keep my new years resolutions not to but any footwear just because it is cute, on sale, and my size. Will keep any purchase only if it is comfy.

What I want is more stylish, and maybe a pair or two a bit edgy. I have a nice winter collection of boots and booties, and 3 pairs of heels to take me thru winter and spring, and one pair of dressy sandals for summer. What I am looking at replacing the remaining 2 pairs of ballet flats that I am tired of with stylish flats, and adding more year round flats, and definitely want a pair of two tone (black with beige, cream or white) like small 1 1/2 inch heels. Every time I find what I want on line my size is out of stock..Anyhow I wear 7 1/2 and here is one 1 pair found. Got this color cause the black and tan was not available in my size. Then found them on another site in the black, but am keeping these,,and looking for another style in black and tans. So what colors would you wear these with? Another thing I want to do is add more color to my footwear wardrobe -as I have always stuck with the standard black, brown and beige. The color on the toe is more of a burgundy and covers more of the front of the shoe than this photo.
