Vera,
Looks like a super cute style on you, but not sure if it is a top or a jacket .
The color is fun, perhaps a thinner layering piece under it in a more neutral color:)

Unbottened might be better. Also, if you have another red (even a darker red) to peek out of bottom of jacket then it might help the jacket seem longer. I think the jacket is cute but too short for you.

Vera, I LOVE those colors together! I agree with the other ladies about the boxiness of the jacket: try it unbuttoned, and try it over a few different tops to see if it could work with something else own (maybe a skirt and a wrap top?). I think you could try wearing it with top that has a lower or a V neckline. Please post pictures so we can help!

I like how you are trying layers, Vera, but I agree with April -- the fabric is a little stiff. Another option is trying it unbuttoned, and seeing how that hangs. Have fun experimenting!

Vera, I think the fabric may be a little stiff, which makes the top stand out from your body instead of draping in a more flattering way. Does that make sense? Heavy fabric with a very structured cut like that can give a boxy silhouette, especially if the top is a bit short, as this one is.

I hope Angie will give us some of her wisdom, but my suggestion would be to look for a longer top in a softer fabric. I think that bold red would be a fab color on you in another cut!

I don't think that it is the most flattering cut for you.
