Didn't look right. Yesterday morning it dawned on me: I'm seeing the true color of my hair! It's much grayer than I thought! The texture seems different. I thought maybe I'd used the wrong shampoo, or mistaken conditioner for the shampoo bottle. Yes, and I can see that I have a lot more wrinkles than I thought. Hope recovery continues very well. </p> <p>I hear you on colors. I had both eyes done this past spring. Everything was so blue! That shifted a bit. It has changed some of my color choices — some things like bright fuchsia are too bright in large amounts. Also presumably I’m seeing my hair and skin tones differently.</p> <p>I had same experience, that before I had the other eye done, I was shocked at how yellowish- brown things looked. But now with 2 new lens implants, I have<br /> no more comparisons. So may be choosing slightly different shades going forward, but I won’t exactly be able to tell! </p> <p>It also made a huge difference in daily life. I'm so motivated to keep at it in taking care of myself and my body.</p> <p>Today we went to lunch at Stanford Shopping Center. As we drove along the freeway I realized I could read all the signs from as far away as they could be seen. How many years has it been? Can't remember. and going back home and looking towards the mountains to the east--I could see the houses and buildings way up into the hills--admittedly just bumps and dots on the landscape, but I didn't even realize how much detail I couldn't make out before. It's a beautiful clear autumn day. When we got home, I had a get-well postcard signed by all the people who took care of me at the eye surgery center. So grateful for all the wonderful medical treatments available and the great people we deal with here.
