I find this a problem with pretty much all maxi dresses...too bare on top for someone who needs a neckline that's high and touches the neck due to small bust and aging skin. Maxi's are hard to fit if you're curvy. They are either too tight on the hips, too big in the waist, or are not flattering due to pleating, etc. The light pleating here adds some interest and I am so pleased with the fit.
