We leave on Friday for Barcelona then on to Madrid on Monday and Lisbon on the 23rd. Rute has given me a wonderful list of places to eat in Lisbon, but I would welcome any suggestions for Barcelona and Madrid if anyone has them. Having said all of that, we are meant to be flying back with BA, so we may have to alter our plans if our flight is cancelled!</p> <p>San - I had about 3 inches taken off the bottom of my hair about a month ago. I am not sure you do want hair like mine, I spend a lot of money on products, hair cuts etc and it only ever looks half decent!</p> <p>Bone marrow was yummy, if you ever cook a stew with bones then normally the marrow comes out and adds flavour and helps it to thicken. It was kind of like eating pate (it came with garlic toast) and you have to get it out of the middle of the bone. Food was lovely. We went to a restaurant on Saturday night called Menza (<a href="http://www.menza.co.hu/" rel="nofollow">http://www.menza.co.hu/</a>) and had a lovely meal. We had 2 glasses of beautiful hungarian wine each, plus shared a starter (bone marrow) and I then had venison and my husband goose. All this cost £40, I think we would have paid double in London. We only spent 2 days there, but I LOVED it. It is the most fabulous city, very cool and at this time of year fantastic Christmas markets (it was cold, much mulled wine was drunk)</p> <p>Fashion wise, I thought the young Hungarian women were very nicely dressed. Lots of what you see all over Europe, boots, boots and more boots. In fact the shoe shops were fantastic, pity I didn't have any room in my bag.</p> <p>It snowed on Sunday and my wool coat wasn't quite warm enough, I really appreciate the need for a puffa coat now. I also need a much more fashionable hat. My cashmere lined leather gloves did the trick though.</p> <p>Also, lots of fur and when I was freezing I have to say that a fur lined hood was looking very appealing!</p> <p>Photos of me look horrific, but since I spend a lot of time looking at photos of everyone else I thought I should post one of me (I wish I looked as good as all of you!) It is of me at Fishermen's Bastion, it was windy (hence the hair) and my coat really is much too short in the arms (but is the only one that fits as my black one is too big now).
