You have to teach something 3 ways AND reinforce it by saying what you're going to do, what you're doing, and what you've done (afterwards) or nobody will take anything away. I think it's true for our own inner lessons, too. </p> <p>I can't tell you the number of times I remind myself of the same stuff and seem not to have learned it. Sometimes it's because I'm overly ambitious and try to meet too many goals at once. Maybe this goal was premature. Stumbled upon the first time I did a year-end reflection - in 2015, looking to 2016. Here's an excerpt showing the goals I identified. Do I laugh or cry at this?? (<b>Nemosmom</b>, the bolding is for you lol!!) The more things change&nbsp;*sigh*&nbsp;... on the plus side, at least clearly I've defined the problem correctly hahaha!! :D</p> <p><i>1. Shop with personal intention - for need or love, as mentioned, <b>not to check off a list</b> or follow anyone else. <br />2. Stick to my style, but try something trendy each season - even fails are successes if it means I am staying engaged and interested. <br />3. Embrace my ultra-casual day to day lifestyle, but continue to "polish up" daily (prettify my hair and makeup). Even my hoodie can look cute with some lipstick and freshly-washed hair.<br /></i><br />*facepalm* </p>
