I was always a Daddy's girl....I still am really I just got back from seeing my parents and taking Dad his Fathers Day gift. I remember spending many an hour gardening with him and him teaching me the names of plants and how to tell the difference between a weed and not a weed. At 72, my papa is intelligent, inquisitive and loving. He gave me the best gift when I was 17 and not sure of what to do with my life. He believed in me. And that only made me believe in myself. </p> <p>He doesn't always agree with me. But he does always support me in whatever my choices may be. I love him for that, and for his unconditional love. </p> <p>As a pediatrician, my papa sees children every single day. And he still insists that I was the sweetest baby in the world I was independent and trusting and loving, and he greatly enjoyed my childhood. </p> <p>Care to join me and pay a tribute to your own dad for Father's Day?
