I get teased about being dressed up casual and one time I was told to wear a hoodie- I got a pair of super glitzy over the top clip on earrings and attached them to the hoodie strings. It gets in the way when you try to zip the jacket, and looks dumb when you leave it unzipped. I find them annoying, distracting, and potentially&nbsp;an actual problem if they caught on anything. I&nbsp;almost always remove (if they are in a casing) &nbsp;or cut them off. I do the same with the strings around the bottom of&nbsp;ackets. The only ones I don't remove are the ones that pull a hood tight on a coat where that is important, like a raincoat.
