We are 33 years now so seeing everyone in 2 more years will be fun. You could really tell the Botox girls at age 54.Most don't, but some do and it was a certain group! Overall the men looked to have aged more than the women. It was interesting. Good tip about a plastic bag for smelly stuff.</p> <p>Suz, the Boden 'Phoebe' had to be passed on. It was a snug across the chest and shoulders. I thought I could block it after I washed it and stretch it a bit, but it didn't work out. The 'Louisa' has been my #1 summer dress, though. Chalk it up to learning about Boden UK sizing. </p> <p>Thanks all for posting. Opinions are nearly split down the middle. I'm leaning towards #1 for the reasons some of you have posted - last summer fling! Still brutally hot where I live with high humidity. I would judge by the weather forecast. You'll be able to get a long range forecast for the period pretty soon. If it is cooling down when you leave, take blush and olive. If still hot, bring red, white, blue. I have a special fondness for that one, due to the red. But that's just me.&nbsp;</p> <p>I've done a fair bit of travel on the east coast in the past few years, both in mid-to-late summer and in fall (but later than you will be there). I would bring an extra summery scarf or two -- they are great for layering if you are walking near the water in the wind. I waterproof gore-tex kind of coat can be useful, too. DH's university class is getting together for a weekend to celebrate 35 years since they graduated (faculty of Foresty). DH and I were married the summer before his final year, so I know all these folks. We will be amongst friends!</p> <p>DH and I will be on the road for 2-3 days, then staying at a coastal resort for 3 days, then a leisurely drive home. Activities will revolve around some water sports, gentle hiking, visiting a farmers market, or just hanging out. Evenings will be barbecues, a lobster boil, and stories and songs around a bonfire. Nothing fancy.</p> <p>After playing in my closet, I've put together 2 different capsules. </p> <p>#1 is blue and white with red accents.<br /> #2 is black and white with dusty pink and olive accents. </p> <p>Both have 1 pair jeans, 2 pair pants, 1 pair shorts, 7 tops including light sweaters, 1 topper, 1 trench (the black trench is hard to see), a scarf, 3 pairs footwear, a bathing suit, a light bag (Lepliage). I'm bringing a hoodie to sacrifice to bonfire nights (smoke?). I'll be throwing my hiking boots into the car, though I think the sneakers (kitted out with inserts) will be good enough. I'll also bring an additional bag with some workout gear.</p> <p>Which capsule do you think works better for an early September getaway? Am I missing anything? </p>
