I think it can easily look frumpy, although I love every way you've styled it. As a stop gap it's probably good, so it's a matter of CPW really - how much you will actually wear it and how much the issues you've already identified will realistically prevent you from reaching for it.</p> <p>The sleeve issue would bother me big time. The fact you need to constantly keep in mind things have to be worn in <i>certain</i> way only to avoid <i>certain</i> issues, that kills the joy of wearing something for me.&nbsp;</p> <p>Btw, things can happen like this - things don't fit the same although technically it's the same model and&nbsp;size. Your size must be narrower than mine though. Before I tapered them they really puzzled me for PPL - and now it is much easier!<br />I could not help but compare this tux with my BR tux from last year. Mine is definitely not as fitted and has some "swagger" to it which I really like. It doesn't have the traditional shawl collar (which I love) but has a peaked lapel and&nbsp;notched collar (which I also love). This jacket is longer than the navy suit jacket, with a slightly lower stance. Tough to see these details, I know.&nbsp;</p> <p>Anyway, I think you are right -- the fitted waist makes the jacket a bit on the traditional side.
