If not for this place I'd probably be wearing sweats all day and would be more miserable. That's how I dressed when I worked from home as a grad student, and in retrospect, I don't think it helped (everyone is different on this - some people might be the opposite!). I find that changing for the work day helps give it boundaries that I really need to have in place.</p> <p>I don't mind being at home as much as I thought, but the getting outside each day is crucial. I am very lucky to live near Central Park, which is large enough to get away from crowds in most cases.
