The new kittens are certainly keeping me and Goblin busy. One note on the new Splendid tee, is that unlike the old one I own, I had to remove the tag at the neck because the thread was too scratchy and irritating for my tastes. I always get suckered into reading those "Best White Tee" articles and feel like I should get one, but on the other hand, I never just wear a plain white T. If I'm wearing a T shirt it's usually a fun graphic shirt. Plain is too boring for me! I bought a navy Gap T shirt and haven't worn it at all yet! I have not tried them yet, but I’m wondering if some of you have.</p> <p>LJP, sadly, Birch had hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, a heart condition and his was much more severe than Goblin, who also has a milder case. My sweet Birch had to be euthanized and crossed rainbow bridge on October 10, 2025. My other Shaded Silver Persians lived to be 18 and never had a condition like this. So it was pretty upsetting since they were diagnosed at the age of one with a CardioPet blood test and had and have been on Atenolol since that time. I’ve had both rescue cats and this breed of Shaded Silver Persians. They came from two catteries who only have two litters a year and they are trying to get back to the original Persian face with a nice normal nose, and nothing flat so there are no breathing or health issues. I thought a lot about their names, Bertie (a favorite secondary character in Downton Abbey), Bundle (a new discovery and the name of the young sleuth in an Agatha Christie Netflix series, “The Seven Dials Mystery” I watched on Netflix, and Beau, the cousin of these two siblings, who is extraordinarily beautiful. I really wanted only two kittens and my sister was feeling like she wanted one to boost her spirits. However, she hadn’t had a cat in over 11 years and she misjudged the energy of these little ones. I figured there is always room for one more, but they definitely are a handful right now. I have to have cat energy in my home. I just didn’t realize I would have this much energy, but soon it will be Katz and I will be missing their kitten spirit. The breeders also do not want anyone to rehome their kittens and they will always take their own kitten back. I found that compassionate and commendable. I’m giving Goblin more attention and as much as I can. I mean, why wear it if it doesn’t feel good. I bought a Splendid tee many years ago, a scooped-neck short-sleeved one, and fell in love with it. I have since enjoyed Mott &amp; Bow for their softness but they are slightly thinner. </p> <p>Last week I ordered two Splendid tees, one black and one white, both long-sleeved, as basics. Splendid tees<br /> are soft, comfortable and the ones I want to wear, 50% Supima Cotton &amp; 50% Micro Modal. I plan to go through my tees and organize them and keep only the ones I like to wear. New kittens photo for the cat and animal lovers here. </p>
