They look terrible on me and make me feel terrible, and usually they're in very neutral colors. It made all the difference to find these gorgeous colors available.</p> <p>Today it should be 100F or just over - but tomorrow the first fall cold front arrives! Low temperatures down into the 50s and highs in the 80s. I am so excited, though I suspect I will be cold. I kept honing each pattern design to make it slightly better than the previous.</p> <p><b>N</b>, I was actually struck by a similar realization to see all these side by side. The wide V neckline really is my favorite, since it's flattering and cool. The cowl effect wasn't intentional, but in the mint (#6) the neckline stretched a little when I was finishing it. I love the effect, too. And the shoulders are gathered in most of the dresses, which gives extra material above the chest and a slight cowl effect.</p> <p><b>slim cat</b>, I confess I kind of wondered if I would wear these as much as I did last year - and I did! I also am kind of out of colors to add, LOL. The red in #1 is new and the lavender in #9. It's a lot of work, but later I realized it's even more work to buy something and alter it to fit. This way I can tweak the design, add matching pockets, re-shape the neckline, etc. And I've never bought so many fabrics of the same kind before; I had qualms. They were fun, relatively fast, and pretty.</p> <p><b>Suz</b>, yes! I can find a cardigan match or blend for all of these. I've actually worn a few this past week, since we're actually getting down into the 60s by dawn.</p> <p>Ironing... hehehe. I wear these multiple times before washing; I'll usually spritz the underarms with vodka and let them air out before putting them away. I don't iron them between wears, since I'm okay with normal wearing crease. I'm sitting in a chair most of the time anyway, so ironing wouldn't make that much of a difference. The lightness and chambray texture may help. I do iron after washing, however. I find that cotton and linen tend to be rough in texture after being washed, and ironing smooths out the surface. Creases after that are okay with me!</p> <p><b>SF</b>, thanks! The differences are important. I like formulas, but not literal uniforms.</p> <p><b>Irina</b>, thank you!
