Lisa on "A Solid Week, Almost" https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/a-solid-week-almost#post-1711345 Wed, 10 Aug 2016 14:55:58 +0000 Lisa 1711345@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ Angie-Thanks!  It's nice to post again.  I've been slowly trying out heels this summer season and as long as I don't wear them everyday, so far, so good.  Which really helps open up a lot more options for me now.  I was really getting tired of wearing flats all the time.  And when a gal is only 5'3", sometimes you just want a little bit (ok a lot bit) of height!  #4 and #5 were my favorite of this week, especially #5, so a killer rating makes me very happy.  Your descriptions were very helpful too, it's interesting to see how a staple item, the blazer could be one style in one outfit and a completely different style in another outfit. Sally-Thanks!  I am also a fan of blazers with jeans, it's been a staple outfit formula for me for years now. Sisi-Thanks!  I also like the basic colors of #3. Rachylou-Thanks!  The white sole of the sneakers made the idea to pair them with white jeans an easy decision. Inge-Thanks!  It's nice to start posting WIWs again.  Plus I find it helpful for myself, often I end up wearing an outfit even more after seeing how it looked in a WIW photo. Skylurker-Thanks!  I'll admit, while columns of color are just so easy to dress for, the flower blazer was my favorite outfit from this week. Jane-Thanks!  I also like the tops neck detailing, it takes out the need to worry about a necklace in the mornings. Sara L.-Thanks!  I try to wear the wedges and blazer pairing in #4 on days I know I will be sitting at my desk a lot.   Karie-Thanks!  I do like prints, but I am rather picky about which prints I pick. The two black and white outfits are super fun (really like the addition of the denim jacket and red bag in outfit 3). Outfit 4 is a lovely Modern Classic look, and you are rocking that floral print blazer in the last photo, wow! Love the addition of the cognac peep toe booties too. Lisa on "A Solid Week, Almost" https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/a-solid-week-almost#post-1708310 Fri, 05 Aug 2016 01:40:24 +0000 Lisa 1708310@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ Hi, I had to chuckle when I looked at this series of outfits, indeed, I very rarely sport a print, which these recent outfits accurately reflect. #1-Column of Black I'm a big fan of column of color dressing. #2-Column of White, Almost If I didn't need the cardigan indoors due to a/c I would be a column of white. #3-White and Black I've been sporting a lot of white and black this season, it's so easy. #4-Tan and Blue The nude wedges I only sport with this blazer, because they are not comfy shoes.  But it's rare I see a nude wedge and the heel is also nude color, often it's a wood grain look, which is why I have yet to replace these wedges. #5-Rare Flowers My only printed blazer with my new jeans from NAS.
