In addition to trying a shorter and more closely fitting top (which is true), I just wanted to say that skirts do not work for me at all as a MOTG wear as well, precisely from the same reason (bending, picking, climbing the jungle gym - all these activities cannot be done in a skirt while keeping my underwear covered). I decided to stick to clamdiggers and tunics with leggings. So I only wear skirts to work. But! as Khris said, skirts can work with leggings too, so you might want to try that.

Yep- you need a skirt length top, and leggings underneath may make it more practical.

I totally agree with cindy! The shirt is too long and is shortening your legs, choose another shirt, if possible more fitted on the waist also.

I think the shirt may be a bit long for the skirt. A shorter top may help. Although I have problems with skirts as mom on the go wear for the same reasons you mention in your blog (getting in and out of the SUV, etc.)

ETA: I'm going to try a skort instead - maybe that could be an option for you.

didn't really work for me. The whole outfit made me look kind of dumpy, and it wasn't really practical. Any ideas for making it work better?
