Length of laces matters to keep things streamlined. With tucking in, some laces are too long to stay in place and be comfortable. However, not sure what you do with laces? &nbsp;Tuck them in perhaps, but where?</p> <p>I will say, these shoes are amazing. They came in a plain orange shoe box, whereas another brand came in this pretty grey box with gold lettering. I was momentarily surprised, thinking the gold lettered box was the AGLs. But nope.</p> <p>And then I opened the boxes. &nbsp;No comparison &nbsp;:)</p> <p>The weight of the AGLs, the look, the feel, and the smell. Really nice leather has a certain smell (okay, weird to admit it, but its true!).&nbsp;</p> <p>Fabulous shoes. </p> <p>The other one I tried were the Louise Et Cie. Beautiful look to the shoes, and much more feminine than the AGLs. But they hurt my feet where the toes join the foot. No pain allowed, so I packed them up to be returned.</p>
