Lighthouse keepers and vicars - what interesting ancestors you have! My great-grandfather was a small boy when his family emigrated from Arendal. They settled around Madison, Wisconsin. Madison is very pretty, with lakes and rolling hills. I live about 2 hours away, in the Chicago area. Arendal is such a lovely little town, particularly in summer. I hope you manage to get there one day. May I ask where you live now, and where your great-grandfather settled? 1887 is a long time ago. My family came to Arendal in 1960, when my grandfather became vicar(?) in one of the parishes there. But there's more: My great-great grandfather was the lighthouse keeper in Arendal in the late 19th century, and his son then moved to Oslo and became a shop keeper and also&nbsp;the father of my grandmother who later married the vicar.</p> <p>I haven't seen the movie Frozen, but I will look it up.
