With my favourites by far being my Midas black boots, which are fitted around the ankle and comfortable enough for a lot of walking. My floral booties are really fun too. They are not quite as fitted, but fitted enough, and comfortable. I think I am going to try out these topshop booties for spring. I noticed a new bootie trend in the sock booties. Had not heard the term before, but for a fitted ankle it is the way to go. My ankles are only moderately slim, I think, and I don't care for booties that are very short, so I rarely get the flower pot effect. These are my best ankle fit but the leather isn't as soft as I'd ideally like.</p> <p>3) Purchased recently and can't wait to wear: Donald J. Pliner metallic booties, which might be the most comfortable non-slipper shoe I've ever put on my feet (sneakers included--I'm struggling with a pair of painful sneakers right now, ironically). The ankle fit is a compromise, not perfect but fine with cuffed skinnies and BF jeans.
