The only hint of them reading that way is because they are shown on a young woman. Take away the face and the cuts themselves look cool and edgy but not necessarily youth-exclusive. One thing I have always loved is grey hair with an edgy cut. I think you would look great in either. I've stopped dyeing because of a fragrance allergy (among many other things). Apparently hair dye smells awful and doesn't get sold without fragrance. Oh well. So far...8 months in...the grey is becoming more obvious but I'm not minding it at all. It is my wisdom highlights. I couldn't do those structured cuts because my hair is too wavy/curly (thought not nearly as much as it used to be). I need something that doesn't rely on a distinct shape. But I think you will look great! And I’ll be checking out that IG account… As for hair, I see nothing about these cuts that would rule them out for any age! I know someone (an artist) who is probably ten years older than you who has a similar cut to #1 and her hair is silver and fabulous. If I wanted short hair again, I’d try something like that myself, but 1) my hair grows so fast it seems like a big project to keep it looking good at a short length, and 2) it’s been many years since I had truly short hair (I was in my late 20s!) and I’m not sure it even feels like a me thing anymore! The burgundy sash top is gorgeous and the barrel leg pants (both the leopard print and others) are very cool. It sounds as if you are moving into some new silhouettes and these are guiding the way to add some refinement and originality to the casual pieces you need to wear for your lifestyle. I will be taking notes, and also checking out those shops! It is always such a challenge to be practical and polished and current when life is very casual.  The pixie mullet is super fun. I had one for a while, and loved it in its "just cut" state but after a few weeks, the back of neck stuff drove me bonkers. I do have a rather long hairline in the back, though, so that affects how it looks and feels. I do love the textured fringe and the built-in messiness of this kind of style -- it's loose and free. I sent my stylist the first picture and she's on board:). That berry/burgundy top is stunning and how fun is the top with the silver hardware? I am a big fan of leopard print, it works like a neutral, has great colours in the mix and is more daring than other prints. Whilst I have to admit to being a fan of some universal labels, Uniqlo is a favourite, I also lament at how the retail experience is homogenous and what is available in store is generally very safe in terms of colour and style. It's so great to support designers who are doing something interesting and getting items that you know you will love for years to come. I really admire how Brooklyn has curated her wardrobe with interesting and unique items that work perfectly for her. It seems that this style direction is similar for you. Your hair inspo pictures are fabulous, and I love the idea of going darker for winter, you wear all hair colours well, much like Linda Evangelista and so I think it is an area you can play around, with a new season, a new colour! I think that first style - the mullet pixie - could be really cool on you!
