I hate to have to break it to you Mac, but this cardi *might* be a disappointment. I’ve had this on 5 ft 11 pear shaped client and it did not look fab at all. It cut her in the wrong place and was far too short. Also, the empire cut line was too high.

This one looked so much better and she bought two colours:

http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/30.....9&P=1

But let’s see what happens – everyone is different so lets be positive!

That's a beautiful cardi- think it would be easier to see you in it, it looks on the model like it would hit at the widest part of the hips which is bad for us pears. If you're tall though it might hit higher on you so best to see you in it. If it does work on you it could look good with skinnies x

So, ladies, even tho' i live in Canada, I ordered a ton from Nordies on sale. Love the opportunity to try everything on at home with my own clothes and shoes, and will return the things that don't "work" next time i'm in the US (september)

One item I bought was this swing cardigan http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/30.....lorsNViews in a lovely espresso colour. I will take a photo of myself in it soon, but in general I wonder if it can work on someone like me: tall and pear shaped with a looong waist. I feel it makes me look preggers! But, maybe that's because I have no idea of how to style it; what do I wear under it and on my bottom half? I have a feeling that this silhouette looks better on petite, slim women who need added volume (which I do not!)

Thanks for your thoughts!
