The sales lady said it is "beach to bar" - basically a dress/coverup that works for the beach and then out for drinks or dinner after. My lifestyle isn't exactly "beach to bar" but I loved this little dress, so I got it and wore it as a dress while there. Here at home, though, it definitely feels too short to wear alone. I tried it with leggings but was hot, so I just pushed them up to a cropped length.</p> <p>My questions:<br /> Is the black too harsh against the summer look?<br /> Is this a good legging length? Should I just get some cropped leggings instead of pushing these up?<br /> Are these sandals as clunky and un-fab as I fear? </p>
