The booties in #4 were from Asos a couple of years ago, and I can't even find anything similar on their site now. It's not so easy to find fab grey boots, much less pointy-toed Chelsea booties! These have small silver studs on them, and one stud is now missing. I can be hard on the toes of my shoes for some reason, and they were not expensive. The studs are tiny and it's not really obvious, so I'm not too bothered by it. I suspect that in the next year or so, I'll be on the lookout for a replacement pair of grey booties, but I still like these. </p> <p>Yeah, the jacket is going back. I was smitten with the colors, but I totally see what UmmLila is talking about -- it would work better if it were quilted or something. I'm not sure if it's reading a bit juvenile to me, or if it's just out of context. Really, on the other hand, its nice to bundle up in cheerful colours for the winter. I say play around with it, esp with the zippers and see how it feels. As an aside, I shopped around a bit for a new ski jacket last month and was shocked at some of the sizing. Like premium denim, it seems winter ski outerwear has changed its sizing too. I used to be a S or M, but was barely squeezing into M or L in some brands, especially around the hips. Lots of rain and some snow, so rolled/tucked jeans and my moto boots have been getting worn a lot for dry hems and traction. </p> <p>5-6 are bonus shots of Sunny getting in on the photo action. </p> <p>8-11 all the same outfit, just hard to see colors in the full-length shot so I added details. 11 is with outerwear. </p> <p>12-15 is today. I picked up this sort of post-yoga wrap topper for a whopping $18 because I loved the color, and I decided to wear it to the studio today. Ultracasual but comfy.</p> <p>Lastly, pics 16-18 are of a puffer jacket I spotted at Nordies Rack and had to try. I love the ombré colors. It's a L and *just* fits my hips, which is crazy because I take a M in their pants. Maybe that's why it was in the Rack. It would be nice to have a warm gear/casual jacket that covers the behind, but I only want to keep it if it really works on me. What do you think? I'm going to do some sitting/activity tests in it too, but the zipper opens from the bottom, which is nice for when you want to sit in the car, etc. </p> <p>Feedback welcome as always. </p>
