They were not comfortable with no socks at all, and every other sock I tried slipped down inside the shoes — I guess the heels are just loose enough on me to do that. But Ondo socks were a lifesaver! I agree, these shoes have held up really well, and I like how they have a bit of presence with the platform, but the narrow slight snip-toe makes them distinctive and not terribly clunky. However, it will dip back down into the 30s overnight this weekend. </p> <p>I decided to pull out these pants, which are a bit more spring/summer/fall weight, but I discovered they also look good with booties, so I’m filing away that tidbit! </p> <p>Worn with my new Lilla P button-front jersey top, black sneakers and a black belt. Added layers for the cooler parts of the day — the new denim jacket, and a very old Zara butterfly print scarf. </p> <p>Casual but appropriate for a zoom meeting and going to the laundromat (sigh, can’t wait to have a laundry room again!), plus another zoom tonight. I will probably put jacket and scarf back on for that. </p>
