You caught that. I love the *look* of a deep bucket bag but they’re kind of a black hole and I’m always a little annoyed trying to fish something out of the depths of one. I’ve always liked the more horizontal styles — baguettes and the like — but often they are just a little too small, too shallow, etc. </p> <p>I’d love to see a pic of your Songmont. I want to see everything inside without digging around or pulling things out to enable access to something underneath. &nbsp;Several people mentioned Loewe puzzle bags. As someone who owns one, they are surprisingly structured. The leather is on the hefty and stiff side, not pliable or soft. I wonder if they are too structured for your taste. No gold hardware for me. I’d like just the right burgundy leather with silver, pewter, or black hardware. I’m using smaller bags and wearing them more often crossbody ( to heck with trends) than I used to- used to always keep on shoulder, because a strap across my chest is not my best look, , but I find myself hunching up more when I do that. I bought this "discord by Yamamoto" bag in Japan and there was an amazing selection of bags in gorgeous leather. This one appealed to me for the simplicity of design and yet it still has a recognisable Japanese vibe. The adjustable strap makes it versatile, but my preference is for cross body wear. This bag is comparable in size to my Bao Bao totes. The online shop provides more information.
