This is a huge change for me - the last skirt I owned was when I was at school and these are my first over the knee boots ever (and won't be the last). I won't bore you with all the details but this outfit really took me out of my comfort zone (for at least a couple of hours until I found I liked the compliments I was getting from my coworkers) - my "old" wardrobe was mainly pants, sweaters, a couple of tunics and a couple of pairs of comfy shoes. It was tidy but casual. I never gave much thought to what my style really was and bought mainly for my fantasy lifestyle - most of those orphans ended up being donated so all was not lost. But from reading Angie's blogs and your conversations and advice to each other I found styles and colours and combinations that I was drawn to again and again so, when the "transitional" pieces started hitting our stores down here a couple of months ago I felt ready to dump the old stuff and bring out what I'm looking on as a new beginning. I've still got a way to go, especially when it comes to accessories and gaining confidence in knowing I'm really on the right track. I guess my style mantra could be described as relaxed, casual, chic, approachable.... Any comments, suggestions would be most welcome. </p>
